I have 4 unsecure networks around me and the newest one is dropping my router out.
What's a good net stumbling program so I can see the channels they are broadcasting on to adjust my router accordingly?

Just gain access to their network, go into their router, shut off wireless access, and change the password

lol That's the one as I was making the post I was so angry about my idiot neighbors and the fact I couldn't remember the name of the program.
:icon30: I even used the words network stumbling in my post
3 unsecure wireless netowors and 2 peer 2 peer all on channel 6, looks like I should bring home an Airmagnet sensor from work and jam them all :icon30:
Channel 11 is even dropping out on me

Looks like channel 1 may have to do.

What about a free software package that monitors signal in a graph so I can keep an eye on it for a few hours.

Good stuff but my wi-fi card isn't promiscuous
Looks like the airmagnet setup is coming home with me tomorrow

or if you're leet like me:
hijack their network, hack into their computer, use their printer to print out messages to them

I'm leaning more towards fixing my problem and letting them live in the world of clueless idiots.
If they are wide open, no one is going to waste the time and break into my network.

How can an unsecure network fuck up yours?

Add a few more wireless cards into your computer and do some load balancing.

when channels overlap they create interference.
I am 3 feet from my wireless router getting no signal or intermittant signal when channels overlap areas signals tend to cut out.

not only that, possibly one is running "super G" or some other bandwidth "booster" to wreak even more havoc on your network.

or plan B: cancel your own ISP plan, freeload off the best available moron's network, save $50/month

This is what I would do
