CPL Launches Quake 4 Registration

Havent seen a thread about this yet.

here's a list of competitors. Very surprisingly, some major (ex) q3 and pk players on there.. Vo0, cooller, fox, toxic etc.
I hope this game will bring some good 1v1 action to spectate at competitive level!

Even some more or less oldschool Q2ers are in the list : Purri, Odium, Optimizer.

Is the demo support for Q4 still like 500mb+? If so, forget about enjoying the comp. scene.

No, not our o'dium. *THE* Odium from sweden.
I recall reading somewhere that Q4 wouldn't use render demos, back to a useable demo format. I can't find it though, so that's two weeks of waiting for us to make sure. I'd say it's very likely we'll get the much smaller demos, if not at release, later on in a patch.

no..q4 demos will be different cause q4 uses hitboxes...or so I've heard.
