New Toy - Hercules DJ Console

After taking my Technics SL-DZ1200 back to the store I had some extra cash, so I picked up the Hercules DJ Console. It's an External USB Powered 5.1 soundcard with the mixer controlls and a crossfader that integrates with quite a few DJ Software packages.

Asside from feeling like a toy, it makes mixing more hands on, it's a pretty hot gadget.

I'll be using it on my next broadcast. I know Foo wanted some 1980s beats, anyone else got any requests.

I'm thinking of doing a live request only session if anyone is interrested...

PICS>>>

My main PC is running Virtual DJ, the lappy and the CRT is running Traktor, the smaller laptop is getting setup to take the streams and Mix them down with multitrack recording software. I'm hoping to get it running a shoutcast server so I can run multiple bitrate streams.

I have a low profile jack that screws into the headset, just to lazy to pop it on. if it breaks it breaks I'm good with an iron and re-routing traces with wire :D

In the next few days I'll announce when the broadcast will be.

Once I get the shoutcast server running
- My crates up from the basement
- My turntables hooked up
- some free time to playe live

I'll give a warning so it's settled 1980's will be the theme of my next stream :icon30:

Great prices, great service (due to Work) who wouldn't be?? There are alot of Dell Haters and there should be if you got crappy service from them, but with gold support the worst thing I deal with is the 3 minute hold time :p

if you're doing '80s you have to have new order in there somewhere. either bizzare love triangle or true faith.

work some electrowave/electroclash/whatever-the-fuck-you-wanna-call-it in there. it usually goes pretty good with '80s. same sound different era, kinda.

OMG I used to love Beltram, thanks for the memories. Now I'm bringing up all the crates :icon28:
