You stopped drinking. I still feel sick, my head is thumping I am soooooo dehydrated even though I have polished off a 2 litre bottle of sprite, a pint of water and have a gallon of OJ.


I mean really, is whisky that bad for you that its..... 2 am sunday morning and I stopped drinking 1145 pm friday night and the hangover is still here

The Sprite and orange will be killing you. Too much sugar in those to ward off a hangover.

I really aint drinking anymore, 27 years old and I have to say that the hangovers I am now getting really isnt worth the night before.

What have you been eating? Make sure you're keeping your electrolyte levels up.
And I'm no expert but I don't think the sprite will help. Maybe it will, though. I dunno.

You know the more I think abou tit the more and more I hate alcohol now. After fridays night escapade and disaster, I fell down and almost broke my knee not that I remember any of it as I have a total memory blackout, I think I am hanging up my boxing gloves and tarmac wrestling clothes for a long while.

From 18-25 my hangovers would only last a day if that...sometimes i wouldn't have one if i drank enough water, got a lot of vitamin b-12 to help with the acetaldehyde toxicity, and didn't sleep in too late.

After 25, hangovers got progressively worse. it seemd like a day was added on to the hangover duration for each year.

I haven't been drunk in at least 3 years, and I don't miss it at all when I think back to the hangovers and look at people who try to post on the forums like they are drunk.

ATM my hang overs last about 6 hours
I usually have a FAT munch and a can o carling after a strong night out
This usually sorts me right out.

I really do recommend Noodles. For some reason they own hang overs for me. And Subways

Yea, i can vouch for that. One of the most brutal nights of my life began after my last drink - a prairie fire or something that had tequila and tobasco sauce in it. That was the cap on a long, long night of drinking. My friend found me in the middle of the road on greek row at about 3 in the morning (apparently I had gone back home with some girl, she passed out, I threw up on her floor, then left...) I had fallen that night on bounced my forehead off a small rock retaining wall, so my forehead was bloody as hell. the guy who picked me up found me completely by luck, bcause he had gone to the lab to culture cells (he was doing a 72 hour time study thing and sees me half walking half crawling along the road. All the details I just mentioned come from both my own blurry memory and (mostly) other folks explaining the story back to me. All I remember for sure is going home with the girl, puking on her floor, and waking up on Joydeep's and his wife's couch (they were from India) with a cat staring me right in the face and not having any fucking clue what was going on....I had bandages on my head and knuckles because apparently I had been dragging my hands too...

So yea, tequila == bad.

btw i usually have 2 pints of water, milk thistle tablets and 2 pain killers before i goto bed
This ensures my body can clean itself and i dont wake up with a head feeling like its been hit by a train

I stil feel so terrible that if I lie down and try to go to sleep I can envisige the drinking of whiskey recall the smell and instantly feel like I want to vomit all over again.

yup, we had a tequila with a whole group of friends last week (plus lots of beer). Everybody was hungover the next day.

unless you feel better when you wake up, get a pack of dioralyte and a pack of soluble berroca. 3 of each, then go back to bed. if you can stomach it, have a couple of cans of dunns river nurishment as well.

edit: was it blended whisky? only queers and homeless pissheads drink blended whisky.

after is ok too. My routine is when im home just chug 2 glasses of water and im fine.

then ur not really hungover...more like fucked up the ass tireness...
