But play through a DVD player. It is a .rmvb file.
All I have are cds and can't get a actuall DVD until tomorrow afternoon, but I need this onto a cd...but I need a dvd play to play it.
Do I just burn it to the cd (it is only 100Mb) and my dvd player will play it...or what's the steps?

If it were an avi, that would be simple enough, but I've never heard of an .rmvb file, do you have any idea what format it is?

AFAIK, it's real player...that's what I had to download and install to get it to play. Also what came up during a search.

well, I just started burning it to a cd using only windows... If this doesn't work out I'll just zip it up and transfer it where it needs to go...just didn't wanna go that route.

am I doing something wrong then? I just slap the file in the cd burning drive and tell windows to burn it. place it in my dvd player and it comes up with a screen talking about root.
(I might have made myself look like a complete fag0t)

No, DVD players won't play Real files.
They will play avi files if you do it right, but Real files aren't any kind of open standard. They'll only play with shitty software on a computer.

I thought you were going to use real player to play the file off the cd.

Well, that's what I'm going to do now. I was just telling rook what I used to play it...or what I thought was the correct app that plays them.

Many thanks to you for creation WinAVI Video Convertor, I have tried many converters of the various companies such as MainConcept AG, Canopus and others, but your product should carry the name the best. But, unfortunately and in your program is a pair of dampish places.
Many thanks, and successes in development. __ Alexy
with endorsements like this, winavi is clearly teh w!n

change your realplayer file into an .avi or .mpeg, then burn that to a CD as a 'Video CD', and it should play on 99.9% of DVD Players.
