Yup.

http://www.omlette.net/psp/EBOOT_1.50.zip
A person that goes by the name "MPH" released it finally. Using the tiff exploit you can now downgrade 2.0 to 1.5 (Mabye even 1.0)
Readme is in the MPH zip, here is instructions for those who are still confused.
1) When you open the photo some random numbers come up on the screen, leave them for about 30 secs (as it says) Then turn off the PSP
2) Run the 1.5 "upgrade" it will get the end and have an error (ffffff), I then had to take out my battery for it to go off (and unplug it)
3) It will then start up again and say settings are corrupted press "o" to restore and all your settings will be reset, but you have a 1.5 PSP
Edit: It works, I have tried it.

Can you still play UMD games fine? Did you try going back to 2.00? Do I look fat in these tights?

Yes UMD emulation works, so does everything else, havn't tried going back to 2.0, don't want to lol.
Edit: ooooh the real UMD games, yeah they work, and for the ones that reqire 20, all you do is load up a 1.5 game, then switch to te 2.0 game and it loads.

Although this downgrade is impressive, every emulator sucks so far, ISOs are the only interesting thing to do so far :P

Are you kidding, taking nes, genesis, and snes with you to play on the go is the greatest thing since sliced bread. :P

Finally, great news!
Just been reading through the psphacks forums, it seems like a massive success. You can still upgrade to 2.0 and back again if you wish with no problems.

Quake 1.
The files i can give you, it runs full or shareware.
It runs fine, the only problem is obviously controlls, which can be mapped.

Oh, and the internet explorer that comes vist v2.0, is it in an way avalable for the downgraded version.
I know the only way to go to internet before v2.0 was to use Wipout Pure download screen.
But has the v2.0 browser been hacked and exported in to v1.50?
