Personally I think it's a bit shit, the remake is much better, but it's watchable and has zombies. Everyone likes zombies.

every film that's ever made should have zombies in it, and every film that's already been made should be cgi'd to add zombies.

What a stange statement.
The remake doesn't even come close to Romero's masterpiece.
His subversive dark humor is an exteme rarity and should be celebrated.
The original is very dated but I think that only adds to it's appeal.

I watched the original one the other night and... Christ i nearly fell to sleep... If it wasn't for the wooden acting keeping me laughing i think i would be in a coma now...
