ok, so i ordered 2Mbit onetel bb, and the modem arrived today (only 2 wks after the bb connection became active and i started being charged for it ffs), only the connection didn't work. ran thru every diagnostic i could do here, but might be some problem with the line according to the help desk people
anyone else had experiences like this? and if so, how did things get fixed in the end?

well 1st thing you do is ask for a refund for those 2 weeks
then.... you phone up the helpline and play shit with them untill its sorted

not had any problems in previous "installs". make sure you put the pressure on when the tech will be out to test the line. they love to sit on stuff like that.

The best part is when the say they will be there between 11 and 5, so you have to wait all day for the goombas. I had problems when I first got it, but Comcast actually bent over backwards to sort it, so I can't really complain. GL

I ordered from Nildram they switched it on the day before and its been running perfectly ever since. All I needed to do was buy a router modem enter username and password and bingo 2mb connection
usually when there are problems its with your telephone company not your isp.

yes that's what i'm thinking. they're going to test the line (again) monday or tuesday. it's a real pain since i had to wait forever just to get the bb kit.
