Lunch Foods

So I am fairly sick of the school's lunches and am thinking of taking my lunch yet again. I have beef jerky, oatmeal cookies, and yogurt. I need some other foods, something cheap, hopefully nothing to make it and something not messy and won't get nasty from morning to lunch time. Personally I would be happy to just take MREs as food, but they are expensive and really would suck as the food source for sitting around half the day. Any suggestions for me?
:EDIT:spelled yogurt wrong

You should have two spaces after a period or question mark.

Me and my friends always used to go walk into the town and get something, loads of choices then, and nicer.

MREs that i am talking about are the military issue ones, they are quite good. However since they are made for soliders the calorie content is extremely high, and would be horrible to eat for sitting in classes. The salt content is godly and almost unbeatable, I love it

Thanks.
Geesh I remember eating MREs years ago out in the bush, we here call it scrub.
I recall they tasted like a restrauant meal if prepared the right way, came in a one day ration back, sealed plastic bag, contained all you'd need, great stuff, even a can opener.
The hexamine stove (military mini cooker) and the water bottle metal cup thingy bring back oh so vidid memories
Anyway my lunch time special these days (offce worker - Who'd guess) is mushy avocado and grated carrot on mutigrain bread. Beautiful stuff
