Good riddance, douchebag. Too bad he won't be charged with anything.

true, but his story raises, in a very naked way, the question of why the fuck he was put in charge.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!??!

one wonders how many other "brownies" there are out there in important positions, and screwing up the country. The only reason this was brought to attention was coz of the nature of the disaster - i bet you there are way more subtle crises that are mismanaged, or even caused, on a daily basis by gov't employees.

Hopefully the case of Michael Brown will cause people to start questioning the abilities of those in charge BEFORE they have a chance to publicly demonstrate how inept they are.

Good!

Now how about they purge FEMA from all the other useless nitwits that got their jobs via friends in high places?

You could really say that. His voters appointed an ideological crony to office, even though he was far from qualified for it.

It's quite an analogy for our current government.

I'm glad Michael Brown is finally out, but it's still not enough. Bush should be held responsible for nominating him.

Also Brown took most the blame for FEMA but I bet there are tons of things wrong with FEMA that have not been addressed.

Yea, like the fact that it has no cabinet-level members, that its upper management is still full of unqualified cronies, and it's been swallowed up by a larger, less efficient, less effective, underfunded massive bureaucracy called Homeland Security. Under Michael Chertoff.
