Mike Myers' Scottish accent is a joke though. He's the weakest link.

no, i caught the fairytale bits, but other than Eddie Murphy, i found the movie unfunny. i'm in the minority on this i know, but that's my thought.

Yngwie's the one who does think it's a competition. After all, he's the guy who sent a letter to Joe Satriani which said, "thanks for not copying my style like everyone else does"

I've never liked much of Yngwie's stuff. It's awesome technically, but it just doesn't grab me the way Vai or Eric Johnson do.
He's fast, and he's got skill, but he needs some melody and tone IMO.
