I haven't really been following this cause honestly the games aren't really that great. The main reason why is the dated fucking engine they use that looks like you're gliding on ice. Anyone know if they fixed that this time around?

Am I the only one not impressed by that trailer? The lips don't move with the dialog, the character animations look stiff when turning, and I get a general sense of been-there-done-that from what I saw, both in graphical fidelity and gameplay. Base building better be brilliant....

I too am underwhelmed and a little confused by the strange feeling i've already played this game several years ago.

I'm not concerned.

First of all, I'm not a graphics snob. Secondly, Bethesda has never been at the top of the graphics spectrum, yet I've always had a blast playing their games. It's difficult to make the epic games that they do and also have top notch graphics. Few developers can pull it off. Witcher 3 being a recent game that achieved that (although, I haven't really enjoyed W3 as much as I thought I would).

Also, as far as being the same ol' Fallout, if you've done your research, you'd know it's really not. They brought in some people from id and completely changed the shooter aspect of the game. Plus there is a TON of customization in this game. Both those aspects you don't find with other games, such as Witcher 3.

Again, I'm going to have fun with this game regardless...

Apparently they havnt released the steam keys for it yet, from what I've read they do that around the time you're allowed to pre-load, like 2-3 days before release ?. I messaged them n all and they said theyre expecting them in before release.

'We are expecting them before the release date but we don't have any other info than that I'm afarid

nope - am watching someone who started streaming Fallout 4 literally the minute he was allowed to by twitch and bethesda
