Hey dude... They called the signals being emitted from the comet months ago then a few days ago the euros released "the singing comet" crap... Spend billions and 15 years to land on comet and take a few pictures and samples, or investigate mystery signals coming from random comet?... They may be on to something...

Funny how these shots are higher resolution than the Apollo lander site pics and this looks more intelligently designed than anything on the moon...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The lander pics had a scale of atleast 50km, more likely 100s. That comet is 2.3km wide. It's orbiting very close, try harder noob.

I like this
An account linked to the probe tweeted the message, "Hello Earth! Can you hear me?"

Seems they have problems keeping the signal though, says it's likely something to do with the orientation and they're working on how to fix this.

They also reckon its been awake for a few days, saying that its been gathering data and wants to transmit whats in its memory.

Earth has bid a final farewell to robot lab Philae, severing communications after a year-long silence from the pioneering probe hurtling through space on a comet.
But after more than 12 months without news, it was decided to preserve all remaining energy available to Philae's orbiting mothership Rosetta will remain in orbit around comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko for another two months.
It will crash-land on September 30 to join Philae in their final resting place, concluding a historic quest for cometary clues to the origins of life on EarthRosetta, the European Space Agency (ESA) announced in a blog entitled: Farewell, silent Philae.
