It kind of is though. You hate touchwiz, so you can't like any other OEMS interface because they are all copies of touchwiz in a way.

What? No way. I had a HTC Sensation with Android 4.0 and HTC Sense and that was a beautiful ROM. Sense looked slick, didn't have much bloat and worked very well. Now I have a phone with a ROM that's pretty much a stock 4.2.2 ROM with a few tweaks (all from the phone's manufacturer) and it works a charm.
I also have a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and while I love the hardware and some of the apps I got for it, TouchWiz on it is just painful to use, just like most of Samsung's own apps. They are just ugly, unintuitive and usually there's a superior alternative available in the Play Store, even with S-Pen support.

Ehhhh not really hate I guess, friend. I even had a smart phone for awhile (whenever the Omnia II had first come out). I just don't really see the point I guess? I have a computer to look for things, a GPS if I need to go somewhere, a tablet for an e-reader. Why do I need a smartphone? I can call and text people just fine. Plus I pay $25 a month for my phone service. Who else can say that?

I have a group of friends that come over on Friday nights to play cards, I guess about 7 of us all together, and everyone is constantly looking at Facebook, or texting, or showing someone something on Youtube. Haven't you ever gone out with a group of people and everyone either at your table or nearby looks like this:




Nothing annoys me more. I guess I'm a little old school and still value a good conversation without technology interfering.

The only thing that does bug the fuck out of me is that everyone else has smart phones, and like to text 4 or 5 quick sentences one at a time. My phone can't handle that and likes to restart

I do enjoy my smartphone for the all-in-one, as you seem to like having a specific piece of technology for every task . It doesn't rule my day to day life but it is nice to have because where I work I need my phone to wireless hotspot, banking, etc ( working out in the sticks really is a pain sometimes )
