You care about the GPS?YourGrandpa wrote:I don't care that the ipad 4th Gen has a better GPS... Do you ever get embarrassed at the fact people are always explaining things to you? No need to argue. The only reason were having this continuing conversation is because I made an innocuous statement about innovation. They're not interested in reason, nor do I think they really care. It's all about finding another reason to dump on me. Which is cool. I realize the motivation.EtUL wrote:It is innovation when all other manufacturers are putting out shit displays.

3G/4G is a GPS technology? Funny how none of the Garmins have that technology built in.YourGrandpa wrote:That's what Apple says, 3G vs 4G. Not like I give a shit.GONNAFISTYA wrote:lol "faster GPS"

Cost isn't an "issue". But certainly even you can understand the concept of not buying something you'll never use or need. No?plained wrote:ok i hadnt realized cost was an issue

That's what it says on the Apple site. Maybe you could ask them for further clarification. I can only assume that the GPS uses the 4G network.obsidian wrote: 3G/4G is a GPS technology? Funny how none of the Garmins have that technology built in.

I'm pretty sure that's not what it says on the Apple site. Not sure though.YourGrandpa wrote:That's what it says on the Apple site. Maybe you could ask them for further clarification. I've never done a cell phone tower. Nor do I proclaim to be an iPad or GPS expert. If it's not on the Apple site, then I read it in a review somewhere. Who the fuck knows or even cares? We'll never even use the the iPads GPS anyway.obsidian wrote:LOL what a moron, he just keeps digging deeper so he can get out of his hole. I'm a Project Manager for a family owned and operated Commercial Electrical Contractor. Because the company is relatively small there are only (3) people who hold senior positions. When construction was booming I was directly responsible for 150+ men and 7+ million dollars in contracts.
What do you do?

So you make it a point to buy people things that you know they'll never use or need? Sounds logical.plained wrote:yea i understand what u mean .
