so wtf good is this? i got an invite weeks ago...

It's not really any good unless more than one person actually logs in to wave and contributes.... kind of like playing a lan game of quake by yourself.

Voice, on the other hand, is awesome. Just got 3 invites to give out. I'll most likely hand them out to the people I forgot to buy presents for... :P

Nifty, wasn't aware of that. Back on topic, is anyone seriously using Google Wave yet? I suppose it has some potential as an office collaboration tool but not enough to impress me. Haven't been able to think up a killer app for it either.

I use it every day as a sort of IRC channel to idle in with some friends from WoW and people they know. It's been handy a few times when I was able to go back and pull up links from past conversations. I also know a group of programmers on there so there is a wave up for that too.

I haven't posted here in some tme, but I have some google wave invites if peeps want them. I also have voice but sadly no invites there.

For the sake of topic I have Wave and don't use it. I think that is probably normal.

hmmm i can really see the business use for this (i.e. not having my inbox filled up with replies from all 10 people who got cc'd into the first email from some douche who felt he needed to make everyone 'aware' of something most of them didn't need to be 'aware' of)

other than that, meh. and not available outside the US = double meh

The consensus is that most don't care about Google Wave.

Unstickied, but I'm bringing it back. Could I get an invite at nicksapsford AAAAATT gmail ? Some friends and I currently have a facebook group to keep in touch while we're all separate at school and I think wave would be much better.
