You know what DB, fuck you. You are probably one of the most useless cunts on these boards. Everything you say is a flame, your never happy, you always bitch and moan about other people's oppinions and you seem to get a kick out of it.
So why don't you fuck off back to your cross dressing girlfriend, go repair a printer and get the fuck out of here, because TBH after Lawl you are one of the biggest cunt jobs on these boards.
EDIT: And before you start with the olo's and the "no u's" and the "u mad's" and the "looks like somebody is upset" bullshit, just remember that this is a fucking gaming forum, and to be fair while not many like me, just as many can't stand you. The difference is I come here for a laugh, and I don't post 80 posts a day because my tiny penis can't satisfy a woman and its the only attention I get, like you.

Where did he say anything even close to that? You made a blanket statement that anyone who gets used to the controls sucks. He points out that if you can't adapt you suck. I don't see how being able to adapt to (and still not like) a crappy control scheme means that you suck. How can being able to play a game with crappy controls devolve into this and why is it different for him to tell you that you suck when you just told everyone else that they suck? See how much this all sucks?

But ATM I couldn't give two shits how it looks. I'm sniping people using a laggy sixaxis "waggle" motion instead of using the damn sticks... Thats a flaw.
Nope. I understand being critical of it - that's fair enough. What you're saying is retarded though.

When you get (or give) a squad invite in KZ2, there's no way to respond to these requests while in the actual flow of play. The result is that, often, people aren't joining squads. When you do create a squad, it doesn't persist from round to round. There's also no party system, which would streamline this substantially.
[..]
When Gabe came into the office this morning, he established that he really wanted to play Killzone with me, but it wasn't listing me as Online for him. He might have assumed that the weekend's intermittent PSN functionality had created this scenario, but the reality is that Guerilla Games did this by design. If you have a friend who is playing Killzone 2 in single player, they don't show in the game's own friends list. I was only playing the single player because I was waiting for a Goddamned friend to come on! No, no, and no.
lol?
another blow for PSN it seems

Anyway, it looks like a forum user (lol) and not GG has found a fix for the controller lag, and what do you know, its a Sony firmware issue:
http://boardsus.playstation.com/playsta ... ing&page=1
So turn those settings off and try? I cant atm, gotta go to work, but I'll try when I get home...
BTW on the last boss in the palace and my game time is now 4:20... And I'm not happy about that because I took my time

The game's okay, but nothing special. It's graphically impressive for the PS3, but I've seen a lot better on the PC, and even though technically they're less accomplished, I much prefer the fidelity and quality of graphics in recent Source games.
The main character models in Left 4 Dead are much more convincing than the ones in Killzone 2, and clever use of special effects only serves to improve the experience.
I also find this modern focus on reduced colour palettes, a la Gears of War, to actually be a massive step backwards in terms of game design. Even though I find the game itself rather generic, Crysis is a breath of fresh air graphically, with a richly colourful and vibrant world, and to be honest, it puts things like KZ2 to shame.
I'm also beginning to get fed up of FPS games taking their cues from games like CoD and GoW.
Bring back the fantastical, the outrageous and the fun. Spending 10 minutes ducking behind cover in every combat in a game gets tired fast.
And I curse the day most FPS developers decided Bungie had the right idea and that regenerating health is the best way of handling damage in games.
It only encourages "dig-in" gameplay design, and seriously impacts the flow of a game.
And finally, what's the fucking point of making your game incredibly pretty if for the majority of the time, the player's going to be staring at a close up of the texture covering whatever object they're currently having to hide behind?
Sorry, went off on a bit of a tangent there...

I agree with current themes revolving around GoW/CoD etc, but you have to ask yourself that given the target market for console gaming and development I would assume there’s massive pressure to cater for the current flavour.
I don’t expect this with PC games as, generally, the target market is older and more excepting of innovation and diversity.

Yeah, it was mainly just a rant, but I don't think it helps when review sites continuously give games like this top review scores. In all honesty, Killzone 2 deserves a 7 at best, yet everywhere you look, it's scoring 9s and 10s. I suppose again you could say that reviewers have to best represent the tastes of the audience, but there's a bit of chicken & egg there.
The majority of consumers rely on reviews to provide them with an idea of what is good, so naturally, they buy what they're told to. Then the media get the idea that this is what people like, so they balance their reviews to cater to this idea.
It's also rather depressing to see publishers focussing so intently on Metacritic scores; if your game doesn't average 9 in today's climate and you work under one of the bigger publishers, chances are you won't have a job for much longer.
I don't really think that such pressure is good for creativity.
In better news, here's a 10/10 game:
SPACE PHALLUS!

you just need to look at the ads some of these sites run before reading a review, if you know what i mean.
