I think the main difference between ETQW and Q3 is that you don't immediately jump up again after you land, there's a slight delay. It keeps messing up my timing, heh

Neither did I, so no I haven't. I'm reading some of it now.

Hey, can one of you guys who hates it give me your key? I have some friends who want in but missed it, because of the stupid way this shit was handled.

I'm relegated to playing it at a friends house as he could be bothered to try for hours to get a key and I couldn't be arsed.

Also this connections 2Gb cap is... well... I think I used it up checking my email.

I only pulled 6, as much as I can use, before I decided against taking more from a limited pool.

I can probably give up 2 without much hurt.

PM me DooMer.

Foo I'd give you the other if you don't think it would be a waste on your 2gb capped connection. PM me.

Well I've played it for about 2 hours now, and I think it's a blast too.

My favorite class so far is the Strogg Infiltrator. Stealing identities and knifing people in the back is a great way to get where you're going. Not to mention teleporting, deactivating deployables, recapturing spawn points, and using a remote spy-bot... all good stuff.

I agree the vehicles are a touch flighty/weightless, and they don't always seem to conform to the ground you're on the way you'd expect. That strogg flyer takes some getting used to as well. But all in all I think it's a blast.

I'm going to have to play it some more before I have any decent feedback, but I've been enjoying it so far. :icon14:

I downloaded it through bittorrent but after reading this thread and seeing the bullshit you have to go through to play it I deleted the installer.

Believe it or not, I can wait until the final game comes out.
