You do realize that Doombrain is only trolling me?
But sure, I design interfaces for different products. I do research on the users of the product, how they use it and what they think about it. Then I use that knowledge to design how the interface will behave and how the user will be able to achieve his or her goals when interacting with the product. Sometimes I work together with graphic designers and industrial designers, sometimes I do the graphic design and product design myself, it all depends on the product. This last year I've for example been working with navigation software for mobile devices, an infotainment system for premium brand cars, a dialysis machine, a maneuvering console for operating hydraulic ramps onboard Ro-Ro vessels, and right now I'm designing a cluster display system for long-haul trucks and buses.

I love the inner workings of the brain. Have you heard about the simulation of a brain hemisphere of a mouse? Done on the blue supercomputer w/ 4096 cpu's. You think this is a correct representation?
here's the paper

thanks for that - had heard about that. Yea neural simulations are becoming hot stuff. The model described in that paper looks pretty advanced, though I'm not very familiar with this field (though I'll be encountering it a lot in my lab next year).
