Probably because it is better than using the available ditch water which BTW is 99% water ,which is sterile...which is like saying the ocean is pretty safe ,ecxept for the odd shark.

Plained is right. Yes, urine is sterile as it comes out (unless you have an infection), but it's also a wonderful, power-packed energy drink for many microbes. It can quickly become infested. I don't think pissing in the shower is a problem, as long as you wash yourself properly and clean the shower.
Personally, I don't do it because it's a weird sensation. I don't like urinating in lakes/pools, either.

also, if you're washing yourself thoroughly in the shower, some amount of residual fecal matter will get washed off your ring, which really IS toxic. if you get skids after a dump, this is definitely an issue for you...

I piss in the shower, actually I piss on everything around the bath tub, the fossid, the shampoo bottle my roomates scrubby....

yea - it blows my mind that people have an issue with pissing in shower, yet only use toilet paper to clean their asses after a shit.

we had this discussion before. if i sit down, i always clean the seat off with Clorox Cleanup first. if i kneel, i don't have to do that.

I shudder when I hear idiots pissing into (or attempting and missing) a non-urinal toilet. I only piss in a public urinal when all the public toilets are taken an I can't wait.

BTW the best washrooms in Toronto are at Scotland Yard on the Esplanade

drinking piss is not healthy even though it's sterile when it comes out of your body. It's still filled with waste products from your body. While it's true that you can drink it to keep yourself from getting dehydrated for some time, it does need filtering if you're going to be exposed to it for longer amounts of time.

but, if you get stung by a jellyfish, its a good idea to piss on your foot.

hey, i've had pets. they never piss on themselves unless they're about to die. must be GREAT for you...

They also never develop cures for cancer nor learn to ride a bike so I don't think you should pattern your life by them, P1K

I've only seen the ones that ride skateboards , but I'll take your word for it...

And I'll remember your health tip next time I'm riding on a winters day ,inhaling copious amounts of windsheild washing fluids, and stop in a pub...

I understand that you, among others, have an aversion to peeing in the shower.

My question is whether you've critically assessed this aversion, or whether it truly is a prejudice.

If you have rational grounds for holding such a strong opinion against it, can you detail them?
