So cannabinoids cause brain growth without making you smarter. Your wife's in helthcare, right? What does she think of this? Since she is reading along, as you say.

Except he didn't bring up a good point. It's fairly common knowledge that pot has less physical negative effects than tobacco, and I'm not opposed to reforming pot laws. However, using a vaporizer won't negate the cancerous effects of THC. At least not those mentioned in the article.

so there is no harm reduction using a vaporizer instead of pipes, joints, etc?

Oh, I'm sure using a vapo is much better than inhaling smoke into your lungs, so it's probably healthier for your respiratory system. I was just pointing out that the study that Freakaloin thinks proves that pot makes you smarter actually doesn't show that at all. In fact, from my point of view, cannabinoids seem to point to signs of cancer in the brain. Thus, in that case it doesn't matter how the THC gets to your brain, so a vapo wouldn't change the effects shown in that particular study.

If we were talking about cancer from the smoke, then that would be a different case. But if THC itself is a carcinogen, than a vapo won't change that.

considering results can be obtained with synthetic thc it definately deserves a closer look.

i would like to see the same study done with a chronic users estimated thc intake instead of a powerful synthetic substance.

Then again, from a health point of view there's not any reason to think that it's any worse than smoking or drinking excesssively

I just told you. It's not proof that smoking pot will give you cancer -- it's proof that a synthetic version of THC causes undifferentiated growth in the brain, through a known cancer pathway. And if the title was a joke, why get so huffy when I call you on it?

hmmm that would explain why I needed 9 years of college to finish the program..but it made me smarter and much more handsome than I was before experiencing weed..and my sex life has gone through the roof..damn it's great to be a pot smoker..jellus?!!?

I've always thought of pot as something that fucks up your mental activity while alcohol wrecks your body.

Maybe I'm just more susceptible to pot than most people, but if I ever smoke it more than once or twice a week, I can notice pretty big differences in myself... namely, I keep forgetting what word I'm looking for, I can't fuckin' talk properly or write properly...

It's lame. But I usually only blaze for a trippy sex experience or to listen to music heh.

I've noticed a few people say that but I don't have that problem at all in fact I'd say it's the opposite effect where I'll just zone into what I'm doing and do it better than I normaly would like playing a video game as an example.

From my own observations, if used with wisdom, pot can enhance your cognitive performance.
