My dad just came back into town for a few weeks from Thailand and he works with one of the groups which sneak medicine and food into the southeastern Karen region of Burma every couple of weeks. I told him he's insane but he's set on making one of the trips over the border with the rest of them this upcoming year. He brought a bunch of footage over on this trip and, after watching that, I have to say the shit the Karen are forced to deal with daily is appalling.

Hard Candy: 7/10. Very good. Ellen Page is quite a talent. Normal folks will need a shower afterwards; paedophilic viewers will likely burst into flames at about the 60 minute mark.

I am glad someone else has seen this... I recommend it to a lot of people. Just a really messed up idea

The Other Boleyn Girl: 7/10 - I did like the movie, but it was a chick flick after all... can't give it too high a score.

Jumper 4/10 - Don't waste your time. Neat idea, used entirely incorrectly. It's like mixing back to the future with ten things I hate about you... some times things just don't work.

Appleseed Ex Machina - 7/10

Interesting story. Nothing worth seeing more than once or twice though.

Definately nothing amazingly breathtaking here but was entertaining enough to warrant the $20 USD price tag. Glad to add it to my collection.

Animation was cool and creepy looking at the same time.

Could use more brutality and gore. Id give this movie an 8 if it had half the gore Elfen Lied has.
