On another PC related note, we pulled some disturbing numbers this past week about the amount of PC players currently playing Multiplayer (which was fantastic). What wasn't fantastic was the percentage of those numbers who were playing on stolen copies of the game on stolen / cracked CD keys of pirated copies (and that was only people playing online).
Not sure if I can share the exact numbers or percentage of PC players with you, but I'll check and see; if I can I'll update with them. As the amount of people who pirate PC games is astounding. It blows me away at the amount of people willing to steal games (or anything) simply because it's not physical or it's on the safety of the internet to do.

there's been no patch yet for CoD4 on the xbox so the ACOG is still fubar there. in fact there really hasn't been a patch that fixes some of the "major" bugs for any platform yet.
as far as the xbox patch goes it's my understanding that it's going through validation right now and has been for at least the past week. it's also my understanding that validation can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a month or so.
at any rate i'm not sweatin bullets or anything for this patch as it doesn't really address any of the issues that concern me. in fact i'll be disapointed when i wont have a 2x sprinting distance while using the p90

lol no...the claymore wasn't mine...that claymore went off from the airstike...that kill was the last wave...so it's not bullshit and ur a moron...as far as it saying 7 streak...i guess it was so many kills i think the game got confused or behind itself...all my challeneges r complete instead of sniper bullshit...owned...

It would report that goof is on a 15 kill streak if you'd killed 15, you lying tard, all you've done there is completed a challenge.

for all the haters...
it would take a while for the game to say 15 kill streak. it has to go through all the motions of putting up 3 kill streak, 5 kill streak, 7 kill streak, 10 kill streak and THEN 15 kill streak. each one of those messages lasts a good 2 seconds. i've had some decent grenade/airstrike/chopper combos before where i'll go and duck out of sight for a few seconds to regain health or something and i'll just sit there and watch the messages scroll on by.
as far as majors bugs i havn't actually seen any that dramatically hurt the gameplay. the only one that might be considered unfair is the glitch that allows you to sprint for longer distances with certain guns, such as the p90. i don't even know if that's xbox specific or not.
