Oooooh yeah Logitech make the best mice.
My Logitech Pilot+ with mouse wheel still serves me almost every day! :D

So cry?

I know alot of lefties, and they all use the mouse with the right hand..
Left handed people forcing themselves to do things right handed makes them far more susceptible for RSI.

It's annoying that lefties always have their mouse on the left hand side, but I don't think it's fair to say they have to adapt to do things the right handed way. It's just not something you easily do. You try and play Quake with your left hand, you'll think twice then.
If the "first" time i used a mouse was with my left hand i wouldnt have an issue doing so.. thats why i dont get why lefties ever even bothered with the whole "use the mouse backwards" thing..

just fucking odd to me..

I never gave it much thought to be honest... the first time I used a mouse I just grabbed it with my left and started using it. I also never adjusted any settings, which mean I use the mouse with right handed button settings. Anyone actually switching the buttons over is a loony :P I left-click with my middle finger and right-click with my index finger :D

Mouse pad
Or shoddy motherboard

Now, youll think the motherboard thing is insane, but honestly, ive plugged my MX700 into my Ex-GFs computer, fucking totally skipped everywhere, wouldnt hold tracking, it felt like a 5$ walmart mouse.. Plugged it into mine, back to normal working.. same with her "uber" microsoft bluetooth peice of shit.. worked on mine great, hers, total ass

If its USB, try a PS2 converter, or a USB pci card instead of onboard..

More marketing bullshit. I'm happy with the MX510, and I certainly wouldn't go with less than 2 thumb buttons.

Are you serious? Man i would dig it if i had like 10 buttons. In games you can bind weapons, movements, scripts, talking modes, heysuse man, the list goes on and on.

#1 patterns on the pad will fuck it up, solid dark non reflective surface.

#2 make sure no lil fuz and hair gets in the lens, thats the biggest reason mine used to jump, a lil cat hair would get in there or lint and fuck it all up.

That black thing on the left is a button, and has the same thing on the right side. Was $20 USD when I bought it about 8 months ago...it freaks out about once every ~20 hours. Like if I'm setting between matches when I spawn I'll start doing 360's until I move the mouse, wich I find more funny than annoying. :D

I am left handed and can use the mouse in both hands, however I am better at using it right handed. The one thing with the Sniper Boomslang was that I could switch, also I had a Microsoft wireless mouse, ambidexterous mouse and I would use it on my left leg with my left hand at times and was quite good at it

I just bought an MX1000 yesterday, so this is very interesting. I've read some stuff about it being a great gaming mouse and several of my friends swear it's the best gaming mouse ever. One Q3 friend, however, is dissenting, holding out for the corded version.... It's on sale at CompUSA this week for $40 so when I saw it I fuckin' grabbed it, of course. I got a $15 black, matte, hard-surface mouse pad for it 'cuz I've heard those are best....

Any advice on how often I should charge it, where I should keep the charger (Logitech says 8" away from the monitor, so I moved it about a foot away), and (since I've never Quaked w/ more than a two-button mouse) how I should cfg it? I'm open to all suggestions as long as left-click is fire!
