So how does a tree hold authority over a human, exactly? Wouldn't it be better to say rep is a tree, and he was causing some shit, dropping his leaves everywhere, and raw, the human, got sick of cleaning them up so he came over and took a piss on rep and then cut him down and chopped him into equal lengths and sold him on as firewood and turned a nice profit?

The tree isn't an athority figure, you stooge Raw is. Ever heard of an analogy? Trees are usually large, sturdy and well rooted. As not to confuse you any further, I'll draw a direct correlation between the two. Raw has the lead postions here (large and in charge). What he says goes and he sticks to his word (sturdy). Raw has been here for a long time doing what he's been doing (well rooted). All of those are characteristics of an athority figure.
