Yeah this old thread... decided i'd rename it so people would show interest, but leave the old content within so people would remember it. Also, I'm not really requesting moddellers or anything at this point in time (although they are welcome to join the project regardless).
EDIT: Thought I'd clarify my modellers response.. The thread was originally titled something along the lines of "Modellers/Texture needed"

Why were you gone for so long? Don't tell me it took that long to get your computer fixed!!
Interesting project. you seem to be replicating the OOT feel very well from the screenshots I've seen.

actually it did take that long... coming up with that $80 was not easy believe it or not. Once I had the money I spoke to a different rep. who told me the box/shipping was free... bastards made me wait that damn long for that.

EDIT: Should I keep linking to photobucket for my images, or just place them on the forum with IMG code? There will be many many pics throughout the creation of this first map and I'd like to know which is more convenient for others... makes no difference to me. I realize the map is still rather dark... I'll fix that once it's all mapped out. And once I finish all the interiors and place items a bit better, I'll probably release a beta of the map (lighting will be good at least on interiors at that point).

Just about done with the main room in talons house, uploaded 2 pics comparing in-game shot of the tools in the corner to what I did. The difference is obvious... Whenever the hell I get around to it I'll make more accurate textures but for now this will have to do.
Top is N64, bottom is my work.
Presented in same order as above, just showcasing the shelf as well now.
I realize these should probably be modelled, but I don't know how yet... I'll learn and fix that up later though.
