Not sure if this is in response to my opinion about the band-name pic, but if so, then I would like to express that I have no problem with mocking Islam in general or any religion for that matter. But that is not what is happening there. People are mocking the band because the girl singer/guitar player wears a headscarf. That would never have happened if she wore a necklace with a cross or David's Star on it. They are ridiculing the girl's non-religious activity on the basis of religious traits. That, to me, is discriminatory.

I don't know if that's what is happening in this situation, but it is 1000% true regardless.

Had I been born and raised in the Middle East I would likely be a Muslim. My God would have been Allah due to the location of my birth. I would be predisposed to think Non-Muslims were ludicrous in their beliefs therefore fair game for ridicule and worse. Other religions just seem to be able to tone down the rhetoric a bit more. There is mild religious based racism in the band name comments.
