My summer just got a lot busier. I was offered a spot on a youth justice project headed by one of my criminology professors for two weeks in Sudan this August. It should be a great experience.

I have 2 big projects and a few little ones.
The main project is to scrape and prime my house so it's ready for painting in the fall. I have about half the house done, but it's such a pain in the ass preping the shingles considering they are completely dried and chipped. Priming is easy, but we are on our 5th sample color, it's a tough decision committing to a color.
My secondary is to finish my basement. So far I have most of the walls and floor covered with 1" closed cell foam, the floor has a 5/8" plywood deck fastened to the concrete and I started putting up the walls. I just need to get motivated to finish the job...
I think I may switch from Wood studs over to metal, just for the ease of installation. Anyone have an opinion of wood studs over metal?

Just built myself a nice big table with built in storage and a gutter on each side. Followed another guys plans but deviated slightly by wrapping the top in black felt. 4'x6' and 38" tall.

Will make a good table for warhammer, card games, beer pong, storage space, and a general workbench for computers/etc.
