Ah yes myself as well. I was real young but my dad had a 486 and had wolfenstein on it. I wanted to play but was told I was too young, I was allowed to watch. The game confused me as so far I saw no wolves but it looked neat as hell, running around in a little world shooting bad guys! Oh there's some wolves! (the dogs I think). My dad got up to do something for a minute so of course I hopped right on and started playing, and was subsequently banned from the room when he came back and caught me.
Good times.

Chex Quest was my first. I remember begging my mom to buy the type of cereal that it came in, and eventually she did. I never beat it, though I did get to the last level. Then probably a year or so later I discovered Quake and goddamn did that game creep the shit out of me. I've loved the Quake series since then though.

then around 93-94 i played an arcade game, multi player, seperate whole units tho
u kinda floated t a foot off the ground as some sort of cyber guy as u hunted the other guy threw a torn up kinda warehouse
i remember whatching the other guys screen at the same time for an easy edge!

The first FPS game was Wolf3D for me, but I remember playing a first person version of Pacman long before that. It had old Hercules graphics with nothing but green lines to draw the edges of the corridors.

It was installed on some computer my mom had received from the IT department at her work.
I didn't know what the hell I was doing and couldn't appreciate the awesome at the time.

I thought it was a third person game at first, and the pistol was your guys helmet or some shit.
