So now Jack, Kate, etc. arrived on the island during Dharma's period. I guess they're stuck in that timeperiod too.

And why did Locke rise again like Jesus in another period? That's just great. Christian Shephard isn't dead either and probably is Jacob.

Whatever. *waits for next episode*

The baby that was born to the woman Sawyer saved is gong to be Jacob. Horace was building the hut they lived in a few episodes back

Jack, Kate etc are in 1979 along with Jin, Hurley, Sawyer etc

Christian Shephard was resurected the same way that Locke/Bentham was hence Richard Apleton asking Locke to give his life as he knew he would be brough back to life.

Anything else Dutch0? :)

lol, you totally figured it out, didn't you?

So what's the deal with Widmore? Is he more or less evil than Ben?

His name is Richard Alpert. We still don't know the circumstances of any resurrection. It's still unclear whether Sun, Lapidus, etc, are in 1974. Rumor has it that the baby is actually Ethan Rom, not Jacob. Especially considering that Alpert knows who Jacob is and that wouldn't make any sense at all considering he was just born in that episode.

Thanks for coming out though.

Figured out...maybe.

Widmore - interesting one. How did he go from being a Dharma employee to a multi billionaire? Use of the Island's time travelling capabilities perhaps? Who knows...I need to think about that one a little longer :)

Hehe, Widmore playing the stock market and lotto with prior knowledge.
Now, that *would* be tacky.

Still, series delivers, and unlike things like heroes and bsg keeps me interested in the plot.

Where did Richard say he knew Jacob? (not a jibe, I just can't remember)
Ethan is a posibility...

So, that statue...why does it only have 4 toes?

Ben and Richard talked extensively about Jacob in Season 4.

The statue is definitely of egyptian origin and is most likely to be Taweret - a goddess who has four toes, carries two ankhs, and is the goddess of fertility.

The show is definitely moving in an egyptian direction. Another thing to think about is Richard Alperts name possibly being a connection with Ra.

In Egyption myth Ra and Horus (Horace) were Gods at odds with one another but were eventually merged.

I'm not really going anywhere with this. Just throwing out some other connections.

shit, n1 about Ra and Horus.
Im not sure if that will get an action frontseat in the show tho. It took them 5 seasons to ever point out John Locke's name, and noone ever made the connection between Locke, Cooper and Rousseau.

Yeah I have read a lot about the Egyption theme on the go. Interesting stuff and may make sense with a few things. BUt then it is a crazy conclusion given this entire program was about a plane crash :owned:

He did, lol... Tard...

BTW, anybody else think Kate is ugly as fuck...? I used to have such a boner for her, but on the last episode she just didn't do it for me at all anymore, dunno why...

Julliet on the other hand... My word...

ooohhh yeah i was wondering about sun too...though the way things have been fast tracked lately i'd give it one or two eps before that's explained or that we at least have an idea.

and i agree with kate. just watched the past 4 seasons this month or so and kate seems to oscilate between hot and not so hot. juliete has always been a babe though.

jack and john piss me off though. i understand the whole logic vs. fate thing but ffs i can see now why people started lossing interest last season.

anyways...who went "oh snap" when they found out ethan was the baby? makes me want more backstory on ethan.

Saw it coming with the baby, and with Ben. Its too easy to include something like that, and we had to bump into them at some point.

I just remembered... Isn't the actress who played Julliet the same woman who did a lesbian scene with Angelina Jolie in some film...? That might be worth a view :p

Is anyone else completely frustrated with how convoluted the plot has become? Just when you think the show couldn't have anymore subplots or new ideas to continue the main story arch, more pop up. It went from being an awesome show, to a completely frustrating, plot holed, contrived piece of crap.

Then again, I guess I should have seen this coming.

How so? They have to keep you guessing for a few more series. What is it you want, straight up answers? You just wont get them. The way they are doing it is leading up to the big reveal, while still dropping hints and twists along the way. Its the perfect way to do it.

As for answers, this season so far has answered more than any other season already.

I guess some people are never going to be happy unless its put on a plate in front of them.

They consistently draw new questions, many of which are never answered partially, or are never answered completely. Therefore, the show never really goes anywhere, it just compounds this problem over time. I am not asking for "straight up" answers to the overall plot of the show. What I am hinting at, is that the story arc of the show barely manages to maintain its posture because the story itself becomes "lost" within its own convoluted method of progression.

If they could move the plot along without creating more and more seemingly contrived supporting elements (seemingly because each element becomes a vague notion, and never a complete thought), that would help the show greatly. However, after 5 seasons nothing has changed, and the show has become a nearly unintelligable clusterfuck of subplots and incomplete thoughts and ideas.

Lost has run out of ideas and turned to utter shit. They threw every plot device connected to every no-name character/child version against the wall and picked the parts that fell on the dogshit pile. Only fagg0t fanboi cocksuckers still believe it's a good show.

Change the fucking channel you morons.
