Wow, I wonder if creep did cheat. I remember him owning all the time on ax's server. Thing is, creep played me and fjoggs on a euro server quite a while back. Now I was admittedly quite shit back then with no sense of map control and lacking in aim ( much like now ) and creep was owning the fuck out of me. But he was owning fjoggs too and fjoggs is a good player. The accuracy and consistency of rails that creep was getting was astounding, even more so considering he had a ping well in excess of 130. Which makes me consider all the more that he may well have been cheating. Of course there are players who do very well on high pings, but his level of railing seemed a bit inhuman if you ask me.

I'd crush your fagg0ty ass with the rail on dial-up with a 200 ping.

Hahaha what the hell is this? 2.5 years after i stopped playing q3 people were still posting and accusing me of cheating. lawl.

I've been going through old q3 demos lately (of which I have several hundred MB, hundreds of hours of demo) and I'll offer some up.

You can see me playing CA and CTF at ax's; 1v1, TDM, CTF in pugs, and CTF and TDM in tournaments.

I was never very good at q3 in competition, but I was better than most of the people in this little niche. It's just sad that so many of you assumed or would even be persuaded that it was because I cheated.

Oh, also, I just finished watching a demo of Necro beating me 12-2 in CA at ax's.

IIRC cooldown was also known as bane, and yes we've played quite a few ctf pugs and even some CA at ax's together.

@Melvin - I have a 2 demo set of fjoggs and I playing ztn3tourney1 on a US server and then a EURO server. The US game was an old fashioned ass whuppin, and the EURO game I made a 12-7 win with good map control, and decent aim. It's not hard to adjust to a 160 ping if it's stable. =) I think I have a demo of me tearing up some CA on a Euro server too.

I have a demo (which I also turned into a video) of me playing Raw 1v1 on q3dm17. LOL.

hitting rails with high ping (esp on some maps) isn't as hard as you'd think. i can remember playing 1v1's on US servers when i lived in germany - ~180ms ping - and getting around 40% rail. nothing was more fun than finding a random nub on a pub server and crushing him with 5x his ping... or playing raw :>

i remember playing with and against creep, too. good aim, but there were plenty of guys in mid-tier clans around that time with equal or better aim.

When I took over the server from you, I asked creep if he would admin it for me. He did a great job. He was good enough he didn't need to cheat. That's why you didn't "catch" him. I don't know what's going on with your heart--maybe what it's saying is you need to see a heart doctor, not who's cheating and who isn't.

But that does show 'possibly'. Completely disregarding possible evidence because of a familiarity or kind of friendship with someone would be just as bad as outright accusing someone. I don't know if he's innocent or guilty, nor do I give a shit. But, I think you might need to cut ax some slack as he's only giving info as he sees it.

you can visit server called k-play.de - ther u will see absolutely terrible games. guys like jibo ro coller will lose 60:-10 on ztn there.

And this is nto jsut stupid aim all around - it looks like really good game:) But still - its cheating.

So, if you want to prevent cheaters from coming in - you cna do it only by using your own eyes and hands. If you cant tell cheater from not cheater - ths isi a problem.
