popularity of its members.

Just read that Hotmail is the most used free email messages service cie, with 190M active members worldwide.

What would be the lenght of a human chain, if every Hotmail members were linked hand in hand? ( for the purpose of the calculation, we will use the lenght of a person hand to hand opening 5 1/2 feet.)

Try it if you want, I will post some comparative later.

Pete
Hello again.

How would Compare the Human chain of the Hotmail members VS the Earth Circumference.

190,000,000 Hotmail members X 5.5 feet=1,045,000,000 feet

The Earth Circumference is 24,900 Miles or 131,472,000 feet.

1,045,000,000 feet / 131,472,000 feet= 7.94846 times around the earth.

Tnf, for the Human DNA Calculation Length…

10 Trillion Cells X 6 Feet,

60000000000000 feet = 11,363,636,363.636364 miles or
122.2477293 astronomical units.

1 AU = 149,597,870.691 kilometers or 92,955,807.2674332 miles.

Definition: An Astronomical Unit is approximately the mean distance between the Earth and the Sun. It is a derived constant and used to indicate distances within the solar system. Its formal definition is the radius of an unperturbed circular orbit a massless body would revolve about the sun in 2*(pi)/k days (i.e., 365.2568983.... days), where k is defined as the Gaussian constant exactly equal to 0.01720209895. Since an AU is based on radius of a circular orbit, one AU is actually slightly less than the average distance between the Earth and the Sun (approximately 150 million km or 93 million miles).

Tnf is this correct? That mean a little more than 122 times the distance between the earth and the sun. Quite impressive.

Btw what is the measure of a chromosome? We measure them with something like ‘’amstrong’’unit?
Pete.
Yea, your answer fits the estimates given in some of the textbooks.

Chromsomes are often measured in angstroms (for length), for molecular masses we use Daltons.

You can look up what those are...its more rewarding that way.

EDIT: Didn't see saturn's answer...

Thanks Tnf. You really sound like a teacher.

Good evening my friends.

I've got to go NN but just before, if you missed it from my Solution to an IQ Test topic. Here is one of them I posted in it.

Just fun facts but real.

If Bill Gates is worth 40G$…40,000,000,000$

A dollar bill has a thickness of 1mm.

The Earth's circumference is 23,627 miles or about 24,000 miles and the average
distance between the Earth and the Moon is 238,900 or about 240,000 miles. ...

All in one dollar bill, If piled up from earth.. What would be the approximate distance of the one on top from the moon?

If all piled sideways, starting from NY NY to the west…Approximately in wish state it would end?

Have fun!
BTW…Any one have a burrito recipe? I miss Jack in the Box.
Take Care!

lol, I know for you, you read about it in raw forum at the time and in my Solution to an IQ Test before...That's why I said - for the ones who have miss it.

ANSWER To Bill Gates Huge fortune...

A dollar bill has a thickness of 1mm.

The Earth's circumference is 23,627 miles or about 24,000 miles and the average distance between the Earth and the Moon is 238,900 miles or about 240,000 miles. ...

The bill on the top would be approximatly 1/10th of the distance to the moon.

If all piled sideway...the last bill would fall in Wisconsin, just on the brink of Wisconsin...That is after going a whole trip around
the globe passing NY NY .

Believe it or not.
That's a lot of money

Thanks for the link.

I read somewhere that even, with our hamburger eating life style habit, that cause more and more cows population. Thus, cows would have become just are much pollutant than cars and industries because of their methane gas emanations.

If one has the link about this article, please post it here.

About the cows pollutant.

I found this article...A single cow can exhale as much as 634 quarts of methane per day. Worldwide, that translates to nearly 100 million tons of methane annually...
