The analog stick is so far down, it looks like it would be difficult to use it and hold the controller together.

i thought the same thing at first, but after playing with one for about half an hour last night (Ridge Racers), it seems to be right where it needs to be for the PSP. i wasn't even thinking about it after i started playing.

The analog stick seems like it would be a huge pain, and it isnt perfect, my thumb hurt after pulling some mad turns in twisted metal for an hour, but then i found out that you can hit square to accelerate and not move the stick forward and to the side and my thumb was feeling good after that. I honestly will switch between D-Pad and analog stick anbd both work well.

As for the battery life, it has made it through a day with about 50% remaining, so the battery life isn't as good as the DS or an iPod but it will easily last me though a normal day. Of course a car adapter/spare battery/cool battery case thingy would be needed for road trips and the such.

A good testament to how sexy the screen is is watch Spider-Man 2, it looks and plays so wonderful on the PSPs screen.

I got about 7 hours of play out of a single charge, not sure exactly how long. But roughly about that.

I don't think Sony fucked up like they did with the PS2 launch. Sorry you are having a hard time selling your 9800 Pro

I'm not buying one. It's console based.

Since its looking like I'll probably get one in a wekk or two, does anyone know of any US retailers selling just the system; the whole bundle thing sucks, as the ones with stuff I want cost too much and come with useless games/extras. So far, the only place that has anything better than bundles was walmart.com ( :ICON19: ) which let you select your game, and even add a 256 MB mem stick duo for $14 more to their $359 base price.
