Scott Ritter claims he has talked to John Bolton's speechwriter, and they have already written the speech to be given after the Security Council finds no foul play - it says that America can't just sit idly by while Iran threatens us, and we must pre-emptively defend ourselves.

I'm not believing much of anything I'm reading right now - everybody seems to have their own version of how things are about to happen. The thing they all have in common though, is that we are going to attack Iran no matter what. Well, Ritter thinks that if the Dems can take the Congress back in '06 it can be stopped, but I think he's overly optimistic.

Either way, things are definitely gearing up right now. I only wish Fitzgerald would indict Cheney for passing classified info to Libby, and Bush would get impeached over the wiretapping program, quickly.

I agree until the end. Even if Iran or some other idiot fanatical country did fire off a nuke, they surely wouldnt have the range and power to project the damage world wide. In the end they would fuck themsleves as every country would hammer the offending country and glass the place, but we would be fine up here in Canada.
