Pendulum - Hold Your Colour
7/10

Genre : Drum'n'Bass / Breaks

definitely one of the better dnb albums i've heard in a long time. i dock it points because some of the songs really dont live up to the production of the rest of the album. but the tracks that are good, are really really really fucking good. tracks that are noteworthy are still grey and sounds of life, these two tracks have a nice sorta dreamy trancy dnb thing going on and the female vocals are to die for.

Roisin Murphy "Ruby Blue"
9/10
Genre: Electronic+Jazz (dunno)
Not music for anyone I guess. I need to listen to it few times before I liked it. After several more rounds I think it's simply a great album, one of the best of 2005.

Muse - Absolution
9/10

genre: rock/indie? with synths!

awesome album. by far my favorite muse one. i've been listening to this one on and off ever since it was released and i still havnt gotten sick of it. if you've been living under a rock and arent familiar with their stuff they're kinda like a cross between filter, radiohead and a few random other rock bands. the killers have a very similar sound if that helps any.

also if you ever get a chance to see these guys live, they're simply fucking amazing. hands down the best concert i've ever been to. they sound better live than on their album, which you can't say for most bands.
