I don't think random IQ stats are that accurate. They need to find a better way of gauging people's intelligence. IQ test questions depend how how good of an education you have. People can be intelligent without having had a good education.

Tambs et al (1989) found that occupational status, educational attainment, and IQ are individually heritable; and further found that "genetic variance influencing educational attainment ... contributed approximately one-fourth of the genetic variance for occupational status and nearly half the genetic variance for IQ". In a sample of US siblings, Rowe et al (1997) report that the inequality in education and income was predominantly due to genes, with shared environmental factors playing a subordinate role.
From Wikipedia.

People can have the potential to be intelligent and yes, that isn't measured, but I don't see how that's relevant. Potential intelligence does not equal intelligence, as you seem to suggest.

You can be as dumb as bread but with education you might be very intelligent.

So what you're saying is Americans are pretty much the rulers of the world, and stand for freedom and democracy, but noone outside of America has any right to criticise.

Yes, a fad that will go away when the fucked up shit gets sorted out.

Buh.

EDIT: BTW it's much easier to assume that someone is pointing out problems because they're bitter/jealous/its popular than it is to actually take them on board, accept what is being said by a large number of people, and just start paying attention and critically assessing what's happening for yourself.

if you truly believe that most negative things being said about America/its government/its people around here is 'just a fad' and there's nothing behind it, then surely you're just part of that same stupidity by reacting in the equal and opposite manner.

So assuming you're right, you're taking the wrong approach, and assuming you're wrong (and the negativity being expressed towards america is vaild) you're taking the wrong approach too.

Question is, do you understand this or does it get pawned off with another dismissive response.
