Yeah it's called the WAB Version Changer, it tricks the psp into thinking you have a certain update installed. :)

http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/ ... ,0,40,1192

You gotta have the power supply connected when doing this.

You know if you have 2.0 installed, I think if you use WAB and trick it to 1.5, the homebrew stuff might work, I haven't tried it. :D

WAB has worked so far for all the 1.52 games I've tried.

You know what runs ace on the psp, Neo Geo CD, it has full acceleration enabled, the metal slug games are like 100mb+ but they run soo sweet. :D

The only thing I wish improves soon is the only gba emulator out there, it is soo slow, now if it at least ran as fast as the snes emu, I would be in 16bit heaven. :D

My god mate it worked, it tricks the PSP into thinking its a 2.0, but without the 2.0 shit. I can play any game and still play my emu's :D

Shame its not REALLY 2.0 though, so i lose the features of 2.0... I really cant wait for it to be cracked.

Now i'll just hack my background back in and i'm set!

2.0 will not be cracked, however it will now be possible to write ones own firmware, it's only a matter of time untl a user firmware comes out, with all of 2.0's features, but still has support for homebrew.

No no no thats what im trying to say, now that people are progressing further someone will eventually make an EBOOT with thier own firmware, adding 2.0's features, but without security.

Yea I saw one (Not sure if its fake) it was a pic of an os with an orangeish wallpaper, battery in bottom right etc. I want that! lol

Well, i replaced my backgrounds. They are good enough to look ok at the shitty low res they need to be in, and different enough to be different from the default ones...

I'm loving this now, I just want 2.0 emu's to be working now so that i can get the better features AND the better games.

What is a good NES emulator, I've tried NesterJ and it doesn't seem to like me, I get a code80020001

NesterJ is good, but it dosen't come with a pre-made boot file for 1.5 (only for 1.0) so you need to generate one. ;)

Use this tool: http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/ ... 0,0,40,910

It's under the first option, 'export eboot'.

Did you guys try playing super mario rpg, man it's such a fantastic little game, I don't wanna wait till a better emu comes around to run it at full speed. :p

Try playing through the bowser intro, use 333mhz and mode7 in hacks on, does it feel playable?

When I turned off the frame counter it forced me not too look at the dropping framerate so I thoght it was a bit playable, I'm at the mushroom kindom bit now. :paranoid:
