ok played mw1 for a few hours.... way easier omfg. the people are bigger, the maps are smaller, i was headshotting like a mofo, yes some lag but it was steady and you can lead people in mw1 since they aren't going a million miles per hour and shooting you from all the way across the map. You could have your sens above high and still be quick and accurate on long shots, unlike mw2 where if you want to be able to turn around and see whats killing you in one hit you need a high sens, but forget about long range.

the hardest part of mw1 is making classes lol

so basically, mw2 is ten times larger than the 1st, as evident by the point system

I see no differences in control, sensitivity, hit detection, weapons, or anything else for that matter. I think you want there to be differences, and therefore see them. I think most of your issues can be attributed to lag.

Give it a few months and when the traffic dies down, your games will improve. Today I experienced my first two very laggy games (back to back as a matter of fact). They were pretty much unplayable, but after those two, everything was peachy again.

I can attest to the double shotgun dude. I've picked up akimbo Model 1887s from a dead guy and those things are brokenly accurate at medium range, even without steady aim. The knife class works well, too, but only in enclosed maps like Favela.

Marathon Pro + Lightweight Pro + Commando Pro + a USP with a tactical knife = hilarious fun. I run around at breakneck speeds with my SCAR out with a heartbeat sensor, and when I get close, I switch to my handgun and stab fuckers. It's especially fun when someone's running down a long street, oblivious to me several paces behind them, slowly catching up. >:D

So what Transient is saying is that stabbing people in the street should be legal.

Is there any way to control which way the emergency air drop comes in from?

No problems here, man. How about our Spec Ops game the other night? Other than spotty voice reception, I didn't experience any lag with you or the AI.

I find that a couple beers loosens me up and actually improves my game a bit.

So I took a real long lan cable and plugged the xbox right into the router instead of using the wireless and there was a big noticeable difference. Went prestige too :)

Yeah, one of my fellows nerds at work warned me about not using wireless for that exact reason. I've been a bit puzzled by your issues here, but that explains it.
I just went 22-8 on Afghan, the planets aligned or something and I finally got a taste of owning fuckers. I liked it. I liked it a lot.

Which beats the hell out of sucking large cocks. Ever tried the 360 version, O Master? The sticks are the fucking dog's breakfast for aiming...

a friend of mine got this game for the pc and i finally got a chance to try it on that platform. WAY easier to play than on the xbox. had some pretty amazing killstreaks only to find that he has lower level ones unlocked and in use which hampered the experience a bit. best game was a 33-4. anyone see that javelin glitch yet? i have yet to encounter it in game.
