8/10

I'm a horror movie fanatic, and this hit all the right spots. This high score might stem from The Shining being my favorite horror flick.

Are you shitting me? Starship troopers is an awesome scifi parody, with a strong dose of political message.

It actually speaks volumes when people miss the fact that it's a parody entirely.

Exactly.

I still laugh whenever I see the scene where Micheal Ironside says,"They sucked his brains out."

The Good Shepherd - 7/10 - seemed longer than it was, and it was fucking long. not a bad directorial debut by de niro, and it showcased both of matt damon's facial expressions :icon3:

Knocked up... 8/10 really really funny.... I was quite surprised.

Ratatoulie 7/10 funny...but not pixars best. They just dont do "people" well enough yet...the rats are done really well though.

It's nice to see a horror movie using suspense in lieu of gore for a change. Having said that the movie left me feeling a bit unfulfilled. The cinematography was fucking excellent though.

Knocked up 7/10

at first it seems like just another guy/girl comedy/romance that feels the space between good movie releases, but it's actually very fresh in writing and ideas. It has this real feel to it, not in the sense of "ohh it could happen" but more like so true to life, some might find it boring.

Still one of my favorite movies.
lol, this speaks volumes when someone obsessively likes one of the more shit-encrusted films ever made. Hell, it even had giant dung beetles :olo:
Go watch Supersize Me, lardball.

Surfs up took my 4 year old cousin to see this last weekend. For anyone above the age of 10ish, it's a 2/10 or so. Few decent parts, and John Heder's character is decently funny. That's about it.

Also saw Shrek 3 last weekend. 6/10 Pretty decent movie, better than the second...not as good as the fist of course.

Deadwood (season one) - fucking 11/10 - pure quality, and phenomenally well written

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - 5/10

I was expecting more out of this movie. I really was.
The Invisible Woman killed the movie for me since she had makeup plastered on her face in every single scene no matter what was happening.

Doom isn't really as badass as he could have been.

Mr. Fanastic turns out to be a total loser.

Not enough smashing beat-em-up action from the Thing.

Human Torch goes through some inferiority complex issues that are like a subplot of the movie. Lame.

It gets +2 points for being Fantastic Four.
+3 because the Silver Surfer was just so damn cool.

I concur.

The Die Hard trilogy in general is just a pretty awesome set. Die Hard: Die Harder didn't leave me with the satisfaction Die Hard did but... well, it was Die Hard and that never goes bad =)

I'm looking forward to the newest Die Hard!

Shooter- 6/10
It was like an old 80s action movie. Pretty entertaining. So many headhshots.

What did you expect after the steaming pile of horse shit that was the first one?

I was expecting a smaller pile of horseshit.

I was hoping the movie would redeem the FF movies but I was badly let down :tear:

Deep Rising = 1/10 - Why do I keep watching these pieces of shit that I know are pieces of shit before I press play?

There was only ONE good scene in the whole movie (which lasted 4 seconds)...and that was when the mercs fired their assault rifles for the first time. Their reaction (and subsequent action) was priceless. Other than that...this was a horrible Aliens-style knockoff.
