What a great way to put it. I really could not have hoped for a better ending, brilliant execution

Great ending. The show never went stale - pushing the story with every scene. No arbitrary story arcs (except for Marie's shoplifting in the first season).

One reason, not the only, that the show refused to fail is that they knew when to fucking quit. That and each season didn't pretend the previous ones were insignificant (Dexter).

ended exactly as i'd hoped. Walt becomes a lumberjack and it turns out everyone was already dead. still doesn't explain all those polar bears though...

there were some definite plot holes in that final episode. Jesse can't have gotten away clean. his fingerprints were all over the gun he was pointing at Walt, and possibly all over the meth lab equipment, and the cops would probably find his 'confession' CD in the player. also, when the cops try to reconstruct what happened to all the Nazis, they'll realise that one died from a gunshot wound to the head at close range and another died of strangulation - the latter death unlikely to have been caused by a 50 year old cancer victim who loses his breath every 5 minutes

well... it's not even made clear he did not get caught shortly after breaking through the gate.

but then again; this discussion is totally missing the point: it's not about wether or not jesse gets away and a second chance somewhere else - it's about the emotional closure he feels when finally breaking free of the whole thing.

It's not a plot hole when the entire series is over two minutes later....

wow, Cranston comes off as a bit dumb, clueless and odd to me. He's better off sticking to scripted appearances only .

I don't think the point of Jesse's escape was that he got away clean. It's that he got away. He doesn't care if he goes to jail. He doesn't even care if he dies anymore.

For all of you wondering what happened to Jesse after the events of the show, he changed his name to Patrick Roy and became coach of the Colorado Avananche.

His outbursts haven't subsided, however, as just last week he had a shit-fit after a game...trying to knock down the glass between the benches while repeatedly calling the other coach a "bitch"...

Ok so I forgot to say that I smashed this entire show in a month, and it was brilliant. One of the best things I have ever had the pleasure of watching.
