I was thinking that waverunners would have been very useful for the rescues in the flooded area, not for large #'s of people obviously, but if there were 100's of them zipping around, perhaps some even pulling small rafts...
BTW - Magnetichead - I hope this disaster is what you hoped it would be. Imagine where'd you be...no hair gel, no hair coloring. Twat.
And folks, pony up and make your donations. But not to the red cross.
We need people with guns down there indiscriminately shooting anyone who threatens anyone else with a weapon
We need Kevin Costner and the cast of waterworld down there to fix things.
yeah, or the Postman heh

It doesn't matter what corporation we're talking about, the issue surrounds police officers themselves taking part in the looting.

POLICE OFFICIALS CORRUPT!! THIS AND MORE AT TEN!
Cops are people too. I wouldn't expect every cop to maintain order when everything around them is going to shit.

Okay so this doesn't surprise you. I assume you also do not find this being reported and filmed in the mainstream media to be something noteworthy?
Fair enough, hundreds most likely thousands of people feel differently. It wasn't put up for your sake.

It's sad, but corrupt officials reall don't surprise me. Fuck, here in Northern Kentucky half of the front page each day is either the Bob Taft (Gov. of Ohio) scandal or the Ernie Fletcher (Gov. of Kentucky) scandal.
It really doesn't surprise me at all that even cops are participating in looting. I just think its sad how quickly they went from a civilized society to what we see now.
Lord of the Flies on fast forward :/

I wonder how many of these people really could have just helped themselves but were too fucking lazy to evacuate.

Probably all of them.
Although stubborness may play a bigger role than laziness.
Edit: I don't really blame them. Of course they said it was going to be bad, but they say that all the time.
