The Sagaris is the only one that doesn't look like a wheeled turd.
As to Ferrari's front vs mid-engined cars, hey like whatever you want. It's just that the way c0ld phrased his original statement made it sound as if there were more mid-engined aesthetically pleasing Ferraris and that the front-engined cars were a novelty. Simply not the case. Are cars like the Dino 206 etc., gorgeous? Hell yes, but there are more examples of the marque (at least to my knowledge) that are front-engined, and certainly no shortage of beautiful ones at that.

That's odd... I like the Sagaris least of all the TVRs...
T350 is probably my favorite.

For the record, I'm not really a fan of Ferrari. More often than not, though, the ones I do like are front-engined.

For what it's worth I'm being more satirical then anything with my front engine ferrari 'rant' wasn't about aesthetics's. (infact since Ferrari didn't really make any mid engine cars until prototype, the dino and what fallowed in the early 70's which was an era of meh styling, there should be more nice looking front engined F-cars).I just don't like the idea of an expensive badge that was spawned from it's legendary racing pedigree attached to 4000lb gran touring cars. Ferrari's F1 cars have the engine in the back and dammit thats were it should stay as far as I'm concerned.

well... in that defense, I think they do need to keep "family resemblance".
the r33 had to have the same resemblance with the S13 and 300ZX, so it only seems fitting that the new one would share traits with the new Z.

Loosing the Progressive styling from the other Skylines ( Seeing the changes from the R32 R33 and R34 ), it dosnt look at bad ass as the R34, that thing looks fucking sinister.

i'de still do away with Hicas ( the all wheel steering System ) But keep the Altezz system ( AWD ), and as per any skyline, the complaint has allways been weight, but thats also what defines the car.

the R34 was a pig, but that fucking pig could move! take turns, and do out with the rest of them... the only thing that i couldnt handle was Tight technial turns, the rest of the time it didnt show its weight to much.

The RB was dropped out of necessity rather than choice. Emmisions laws in Japan are way better than the majority of the world and they had a hard time keeping the emissions on the last RB engine low enough to sell - Hence it was limited to 284bhp

The HICAS system is a modern marvel and made the Skyline a stupidly quick car even in the hands of an idiot. As far as i was aware it did well at tight technical turns given the size of the car.

BTW - My mate has an RB powered S13...it is quick

Ahhh, yea, The car does boast a ULEV-II Cert, So that would explain it.

As for your prase of the HICAS system, sure it helped, but it had a few flaw's.
i'll see if i can pull up a best motoring review where they had a r34 V-spec II, they Did laps around Suki, then put the Hicas Eliminator kit on, and Did more laps with beter times.

P.s. nice S13, Though, i've never been a fan of the hatch, or the 180SX Type X tails... they look like e-bay lights.
the Type X spoiler on a Coupe however...

edit: Jesus, putting Hicas, Eliminator, and best motoring in Google is like standing beside nitro Gliserin and kicking it just to see what happends..
