I'm playing and by fucking god this is the best looking game I've ever seen, and damn the gameplay is tight...

EDIT: Fuck, Hardcores hard... And Insane was locked from the start thank god or I wouldn't be gettign anywhere lol.

This game GOW is okay but it lacks variety and gets boring fast. Dodge, hide, shoot, dodge hide, shoot -- rinse, repeat. That's all there is to it. Even Halo has more variety.

Halo = vehicles, varying environments, better storyline, etc.
Halo 2 = same as Halo but you played both sides.
First person or third person shooters for consoles suck in general; spending more time fighting the controller than the enemies.

I've played for awhile, but got bored out of my mind with constantly fighting the controller just to hit something that would have been shot in less than half a second with a mouse for aiming. The controllers are a pain in the ass for shooter games. If someone comes out with an alternative (perhaps that controller with a mouse ball), or if they make a PC version, I'll revisit the game, otherwise it's just a hassle to bother. It's like trying to run in sandals vs. proper running shoes. You need the right equipment to enjoy the activity.
