Mr. and Mrs. Smith - started out decent, and quickly degenerated into a pile of hedgehog vomit. Even as a metaphor the film sucked.
really think monsoon wedding was A+? it was decent but not amazing or anything IMO.

well i saw it with very low expectations, thinking it was just another hollywood bollywood movie (which i fuckin hate). Turned out to be a very well made movie - excellent direction and videography. And everyone did an amazing job acting.

The Departed - 7/10

The new Scorsese movie, I saw it last night. I really liked it until it got all gimmicky. Easily a 9 if it weren't for the last 30 mins.

edit: 8/10 cause I just remembered Baldwin's character.

going to see it tonight, apparently it's a remake of a chinese movie called Wu jian Dao that was already released over here as "Infernal Affairs", which we've already seen. .. So I guess we're gonna pay to watch the same movie 3 times

Fearless: brilliant fight choreography and cinematography. Music, scenery, all A+

Bit over dramatic and bit of a simple morality tale, but entertaining. I liked hero better.

Altered States: One of the best written movies I've ever seen. Fantastic acting performances. Bit experimental towards end...

The District 7/10

Hungarian cartoon flick advertised as 'the Hungarian answer to South Park' - which i found to be a totally false statement. Entertaining and goddamn weird though.

I haven't seen either of those, but if a movie could give me blue balls, The Departed is it. The plot's really deep, the movie is really good, then all the sudden it's like they get lazy and choose the easy way to end of the movie. They keep building up, building up, then you're like wtf, that's it?

This movie was not good in any way, shape, or form. How you're giving it a 9/10 is completely beyond my comprehension.

My personal opinion is fact. Your personal opinion doesn't matter. That's the difference. Glad I could help.
