I love the LG. Looks insane. But I feel the weapon sare too high on the screen, not low like in Q3. I like the Q3 way

But with drawweapnos 0 it won't matter anyways.

the ambiance, the look, the sounds etc..
it was the best comaparitively

Would work nice in the Doom 3 engine as well, with it being dark and all. Plus its a gothic game, not future style, so it would show off another angle of the doom engine. It would suit it vrey well (like thief 3's engine suited thief 3)

Yeah but it still doesn't make sense.
You can argue that the plasma gun, bfg, rocket, and grenade create force (energy and heat energy) and you're protected by your special armor.
Nails? What are you doing, nailing the wall and then running up the nails?

Ughhh... ANOTHER game with ugly CTF flags. How hard is it to make a nice damn flag model, i've done it in less than an hour FFS...
Anyways yeah, Nailgun jumping makes no sense unless the nails stuck in the wall and you could jump on them

There shouldn't be any splash damage.
And since they have conpletely raped the Quake 2 hyperblaster, and simply made the Q3 plasma gun with the Q2 name, it should be that, that has the splash damage and climbing.

Just watching the CTF vis of some guy strafe jumping, its like half as fast as Quake 3... Hes just jumping while walking it seems...
also the gibbing is nice but there is zero blood from it, whats that about...?

In the other FFA vids you can see some real strafejumping going on, and it looks like you can pick up some decent speed.
The more I read about this game the more eager I get to get my hands on it

Everything is as fast as q3. you can climb with the hyperblaster too. The nailgun is way more effective at climbing, you can like climb forever because theres more splash. The hyperblaster kind of arcs off after a certain height like the q3 plasma.
