Yeah, Larry Hryb personally congratulated Sony with their launch as well.

Having said that though, sincere goes as far as sincere goes. There's a huge marketing machine behind the Xbox brand, and every post to the public through social media and otherwise is carefully orchestrated by that marketing machine. The congratulations aren't a troll, I'm certain of that, but MS wouldn't post this on their Facebook page if it didn't make them look good.

I'm torn between getting an xbox one or a PS4... I was waiting till the xbox one was out but I'm slowly starting to lean towards a PS4. Also 100$ cheaper for some strange reason...

I've noticed you consistently standing up for/protecting xbox in about every console thread posted.
Do you have some interest in xbox, job wise or other, or are you really being strictly objective?

you may have noticed that I tend to have done some research on the horrorstories that float around the interwerbs. it's obviously a lot more dramatic to state "lol no surround sounds" than to actually describe what's going on. so, strictly objective.

I loved the ps2 over the xbox, preferred 360 over ps3, and am on the fence about both ps4/xb1. xb1 looks to be more about a home entertainment device + console, but seems to fail a lot at launch (might get better after a few updates as its mostly software related) . ps4 looks to be more geared towards the gaming side of the platform, but disses seemingly trivial features like local mediastreaming.

I might get both. but right now I'm waiting for the dust to settle (and MS fixing some of their stuff. no hdd space management? no way of telling how much battery power your controller has left? ffs)

Cool, perceived bias I was getting hereby deflated.
Not that I'm getting either one in the foreseeable future; I'll just wait until said dust settles.

Am also leaning to the Xbox cos I think it's nosed ahead of Sony with the media removal. PS2 was also one of my fav consoles then migrated to the 360, obviously they have to sort any problems quick because that helped kill the PS3 launch day, innit ?. If Sony re-introduce media streaming and external drives with Xbone still trying to correct issues then I will be swinging the other way.

I'm in no rush for this generation though, titles could be a deciding factor but with almost everything likely getting released cross platform then I doubt it. Ill prolly pick up a ps3 before the XB1 just to play that zombie game everyones wanking over.
