Saw an awesome GoW trailer at the movies tonight :icon14:
Is this for U.S only?Giraffe }{unter wrote:The GOW theme is pretty hot.. no new maps though. Anyone going to try to play Cliffy B tomorrow?
i got a def higher FOV in Full Auto; also the Guide blade will not take up the entire screen in widescreen, so im sure every game uses the extra space for *smoething*shaft wrote:I had a reg tv when I first got the 360..its been almost a year now...but I think I remember it still being in widescreen...you just have black bars on the top and bottom.DooMer wrote:Do you have an advantage as far as FOV if you have a HD TV vs standard television because of the aspect ratio?
Kind of sucks. I'll try to get used to it. But not nearly as easy to aim and fire as Halo. Different game, I do realize.MKJ wrote:nope, its supposed to be like that.
much like in GRAW, although youdo have a crosshair pf sorts when youre not in aim mode, its more to point than to fire
It adds a it of realism, not that the game has alot of that (cough 3rd person view over walls and around corners) But I guess the did not want to make it too easy.iluvquake4 wrote:Kind of sucks. Was going to do some online play but I get connection problems in the middle of joining almost everytime. I've played a couple rounds and its good fun, but I really need to get a headset. Also need to figure out why I can't connect. It's just this game really.
Connection problems are 90% of the time caused by your router or the hosts router. If you set your XBOX 360 with a static IP address, then place that IP on the DMZ of your router. You will have much better luck joining games. The game host should be doing this as well otherwise you may still have the same problem.
Once the settings have been applied go to the System Blade > Network Settings > Test Xbox Live Connection
Your NAT should say OPEN
Sadly if the Host is not configured like this you may still have issues connecting to them. I cannot explain why some people work fine behind a firewall and some do not it's mildly retarded

i would whip out the crosshairs, take a dry erase marker and mark the center of the screen, and that way you always know where the center is.Giraffe }{unter wrote:It adds a it of realism, not that the game has alot of that (cough 3rd person view over walls and around corners) But I guess the did not want to make it too easy.iluvquake4 wrote:Kind of sucks. If you had a cross hair it would be eaier to do the "over the wall bullet spray. It's pretty cool that you have to stick your neck out and risk getting shot to take aim. When I spray bullets I either pop up and get a close aim or I use the tracer rounds to guide me.
Personally I like the new setup and the view felt like home after a few minutes
