Am I the only one who is finding it hard as hell to aim with the controller? The lack of cross-hair in non-aim mode makes it difficult to play. Unless there is an option to leave the crosshair always on and I'm missing it?

nope, its supposed to be like that.
much like in GRAW, although youdo have a crosshair pf sorts when youre not in aim mode, its more to point than to fire

I had a reg tv when I first got the 360..its been almost a year now...but I think I remember it still being in widescreen...you just have black bars on the top and bottom.
i got a def higher FOV in Full Auto; also the Guide blade will not take up the entire screen in widescreen, so im sure every game uses the extra space for *smoething* :D

Kind of sucks. I'll try to get used to it. But not nearly as easy to aim and fire as Halo. Different game, I do realize.

It adds a it of realism, not that the game has alot of that (cough 3rd person view over walls and around corners) But I guess the did not want to make it too easy.

If you had a cross hair it would be eaier to do the "over the wall bullet spray. It's pretty cool that you have to stick your neck out and risk getting shot to take aim. When I spray bullets I either pop up and get a close aim or I use the tracer rounds to guide me.

Personally I like the new setup and the view felt like home after a few minutes :)

Ah, it's much better on casual. Hardcore seems too hard at this time. All those hours of Quake 1/2/3/4 didn't pay off.

I've played a couple rounds and its good fun, but I really need to get a headset. Also need to figure out why I can't connect. It's just this game really.
I have the exact same problem. I usually can't play MP unless I host my own game or I get an invite from a friend. I can't figure out what the prob is...

Connection problems are 90% of the time caused by your router or the hosts router. If you set your XBOX 360 with a static IP address, then place that IP on the DMZ of your router. You will have much better luck joining games. The game host should be doing this as well otherwise you may still have the same problem.

Once the settings have been applied go to the System Blade > Network Settings > Test Xbox Live Connection

Your NAT should say OPEN

Sadly if the Host is not configured like this you may still have issues connecting to them. I cannot explain why some people work fine behind a firewall and some do not it's mildly retarded

i would whip out the crosshairs, take a dry erase marker and mark the center of the screen, and that way you always know where the center is.
I'm gonna fuck you guys up sooo bad :D

If you've already got cable or DSL running in your home, it's instant I believe.

You can't actually play online without paying a subscription fee (for Xbox Live Gold).

I think it breaks down something like this:
1 yr - $60CDN
3 months - $20CDN
1 month - $8CDN

I assumed he was talking about some sort of "starter kit". They give you a free subscription for a year, am I right?
