Oh I thought you were talking about where to set the sensor awhile ago.

You do NOT want to lube a disc brake! Getting grease on the disc is a sure way to reduce its stopping power a lot!
lol really?

Fastest I've ever gone on a bike was 87km/h down a dirt trail with 4 other guys trying to see who would get to the bottom first. Since I had the only full suspension bike I won.

no! my tires are mountain bike thickness and i have regular pedals. Wind conditions seemed neutral

I used to keep track of a lot more than my top speed. My avg speed was 40km/h my sprinting speed on a flat surface was 62.7, my heart rate was 44bpm my cooldown time was roughly 30 seconds from 90bpm to 44bpm my fastest 100km race was 2 hours and 47 minutes.

how much of a difference does clipless make? What would your sprinting speed be with regular pedals?
Also what about tires?
I've never really tested flat, since i cycle on roads and i don't have much room to test a nice flat out, but i can easily reach 40 and I imagine I could maintain it for a minute or so. I'm guessing I could reach 50 in ideal flat conditions.
So i'm wondering... how much could i do on a racing bike with proper gear and everything?

I've hit 45mph on my old mountain bike downhill. Don't have a speedometer on the new one.
I think I need to stiffen my shocks. When standing to pedal when going up hill, they depress an excessive amount.
And the damn thing is making this rattling noise when I'm really pushing hard on the pedals (near top gear and trying to go fast). It worries me a little.
