As long as the balance is good between races, I think it will be a great game.

I think with RTS games it always takes time after it's released to settle on whether it works or not. Even the crappier RTS games deserve a lot of game time before being sure.

that's true ~ on the other hand it is that developers of crappy- or games that sell bad will never get the amount of feedback to get the balancing right. thus, most games will never show if their initial game design was right.
