He's talking about watching tv (satellite, which he will get in 2 months). The first part of his post is a direct reply to splish splash. Right now I live with my step-brother and basically have one room.
I'll have my BS by this time next year which means my salary doubles.
Once my salary doubles I can get my own place.
Once I have my own place I can setup a kickass movie room and still have an ok TV for my bedroom.

All the stores around here have widescreen TVs that went for atleast $700 and I just wasn't ready to spend that much. If I'm spending $700 I might as well just be buying a projector or something.
